Reid Sullivan has been named CFO at CBS Films, the broadcasting giant's theatrical off-shoot that launched last year with the aim of making four to six films a year budgeted at up to $50m each.

Sullivan arrives from First Look Studios where he also served as CFO.

Prior to that he served as CFO for six years at Village Roadshow and spent eight years in the Sony fold in key executive positions.

He will report to CBS Films executive vice president and COO Bruce Tobey.

CBS Films announced in Cannes that is had acquired Karen McCullah Lutz' speculative marriage comedy screenplay Permission.
