UK playwright Martin McDonagh, who won an Oscar for is short Six Shooter, will start shooting his feature debut In Bruges on Feb 5 in the Belgian city.

The cast for the project -- Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Clemence Poesy, Jeremie Renier, Jordan Prentice and Thekla Reuten -- is gathering today for a press launch.

The suspense thriller is a dark comedy about two London-based hit men, played by Farrell and Gleeson, who are ordered by their boss (Ralph Fiennes) to go to Bruges for a rest and encounter some interesting locals.

Graham Broadbent is producing through his UK-based Blueprint Pictures. Focus Features holds worldwide rights and is co-financing with Film4.
