Eros International has signed a three-year output deal with Bollywood production company Venus.
All Venus films for the next three year will be co-produced with Eros.Eros will keep copyrights for distribution across all formats.
Two films are already in development with directors Abbas Mastan (Humraaz) and Priyadarshan (Garam Masala).
Venus was established in 1985 and has worked on films starring Shilpa Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan.
'Eros has always enjoyed a fabulous relationship with Venus and in thepast we have distributed a large number of their films,' said SunilLulla, director and president India of Eros International. 'We aredelighted to extend this relationship to co-production and globaldistribution and are looking forward to working with them over the nextthree years.'
'Eros brings a global distribution network as well an unmatchedmarketing muscle which will allow us to showcase Venus's creativeoutput on a worldwide platform,' said Ganesh Jain, director of Venus.'I am very excited about the synergy.'
