Peter Fonda boards I Ride Alone for Rock On! Films
New York-based Rock On! Films has cast Peter Fonda to star opposite Talia Shire in I Ride Alone and will commence sales at AFM.
Production is set for 2010 in New Mexico on the story of a conflicted Vietnam veteran who tries to escape his past.
“[Fonda] is one of those rare actors who truly goes into the skin of every character he plays and this film requires that level of intensity,” the film’s director and producer Joe Eckardt, who founded Rock On! Films, said.
The company’s AFM slate includes the drama-thriller Black River starring Hulk Hogan as an FBI profiler, the comedy Billy Joel’s Car starring Jason Mewes as the head of a Billy Joel tribute band, and the romantic-comedy Other Plans with Lacey Chabert.
