Justin Reardon’s [pictured] comedy will be brought to the EFM this week by K5 International.

Jennifer Aniston, Mark Duplass and Ben Kingsley have been cast in Justin Reardon’s next feature Convention, which is due to shoot this summer.

Reardon’s comedy focuses on mild-mannered Paul (Duplass) and his feisty sister Abby (Aniston) who set out to change the box storage world with Paul’s invention of the 5-sided box which brings them into conflict with their fiercest competitors, including maniacal box magnate Bobby Schroedinger (Kingsley).

K5 International handle international sales and will be bringing the project to the European Film Market in Berlin this week. The deal was negotiated by Daniel Baur on behalf of K5 International and Lawrence Kopeikin, Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan on behalf of Paul Schiff Productions. CAA and ICM Partners co-represent North America.

Convention was written by Christopher Painter and is produced by Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan.

K5 partners Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur commented: “We have an absolute dream cast for this dream comedy concept. It brings to mind films like Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine, and in Justin Reardon we have a wildly talented and totally visionary director.”

Schiff added: “Convention is a wildly original and funny screenplay. Justin Reardon’s approach to the material is bold, inventive and bursting with imagination. And finally, we could not be more thrilled to have such a gifted group of actors on board to bring this film to life.”

Aniston is repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Duplass by ICM Partners and Kingsley by CAA/Independent Talent Group. Reardon is repped by Verve and the Arlook Group, Painter by Kaplan/Perrone.

K5 is also at EFM selling Henry Selick’s The Shadow King, 4 1/2 Minutes directed by Renee Zellweger, Bille August’s Night Train to Lisbon, Duncan Jones directed Bond creator project Fleming, Hunger Games spoof The Starving Games and Shaul Schwarz’s documentary Narco Cultura.
