France’s Other Angle Pictures has picked up Greek Summer, a new project to be directed by Olivier Horlait.

Emir Kusturica will star in the father-son tale, which is about a young boy’s friendship with a pelican. It starts shooting in April in Greece, and is being made in association with Studio 37 and Walt Disney Pictures France.

The latter has French distribution rights.

Meanwhile, Other Angle has also concluded an Italian deal for Christopher Thompson’s Bus Palladium, starring Marc-Andre Grondin. It has sold to Brave Films for Italy and talks are ongoing for Germany, Spain and the UK
