UK-based production and sales outfit Jinga has closed a North American deal on its supernatural horror film Finale with Image Entertainment. It is scheduled for May 2010 release.
Finale is intended as a homage to Italian horrormeister Dario Argento’s classic Suspiria (pictured). John Michael Elfers’ debut feature stars Carloyn Van Hauck as a grieving mother who discovers that her deceased son had been dabbling in black magic.
Confirming a brisk start to the EFM, Jinga has also closed a package deal with HBO Central Europe for five UK horror films including Johnny Kevorkian’s The Disappeared, Lawrence Gough’s Savage, Andy Thompson’s The Scar Crow and Julian Richards’ Summer Scars
