Shane Carruth’s follow-up to his acclaimed thriller Primer will receive its international premiere in Panorama on Sunday [10] following last month’s Sundance debut.

Visit Films president Ryan Kampe will commence international sales at the EFM on Upstream Color, which centres on two lonely souls drawn together inadvertently by a sinister scheme.

Carruth stars alongside Amy Seimetz. Casey Gooden and Ben LeClair produced.

“Rarely does a film come along that blows away our conception of the boundaries of cinema and Shane has done this twice,” said Kampe.

“We are so excited to be able to share this film with our worldwide partners in Berlin and spend hours discussing the film with them as we have been doing in the office since we first viewed it.”

erbp will release the film theatrically in the US and Canada on Apr 5.

Visit Films’ sales slate includes the Sundance quartet of A Teacher, Halley, It Felt Like Love and Il Futuro.
