Fabienne Berthaud’s film stars Diane Kruger and Ludivine Sagnier.

Fabienne Berthaud’s Lily Sometimes has been confirmed as the closing night film for the upcoming Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. Starring Diane Kruger and Ludivine Sagnier, the film follows two sisters, one an eccentric living in the countryside and the other a professional woman from Paris, who come together following the death of their mother.

SND is handling international sales on the film which will be released in France by Haut et Court. Berthaud, whose last film was 2005’s Frankie - also starring Kruger - wrote the screenplay with Pascal Arnold while Bertrand Faivre serves as producer.
