The 26th Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles will present Oscar nominee Jonah Hill with the achievement in film award on opening night Mar 15.

“We are very pleased to honor such a dynamic and multi-faceted talent like Jonah Hill,” festival founder and executive director Meir Fenigstein said. “We are excited to present the IFF Achievement in Film Award for his remarkable accomplishments and his support for Israeli filmmaking.”

Hill (pictured with Brad Pitt in Moneyball) is nominated for an Academy Award on Sunday night for best supporting actor for Moneyball.

Yossi Madmoni’s film Restoration will make its LA premiere as the opening night film on Mar 15.

The festival runs from Mar 15-29 and will showcase over 30 new Israeli films ranging from features, documentaries, television series and student shorts.
