Three executives move up within the LA-based company’s business affairs, finance, and marketing divisions.

Beth Lemberger is named evp of business affairs and general counsel and continues to report to FilmDistrict CEO Peter Schlessel. Brad Goldberg assumes the new title of evp of media and digital and continues to report to marketing president Christine Birch, while Anjay Nagpal rises to svp of finance and business development and continues to report to COO Adrian Alperovich.

Lemberger previously served as FilmDistrict’s general counsel and head of business affairs. Prior to FilmDistrict she was responsible for iTunes’ US film business, overseeing studio and independent supplier relationships, acquisitions, day-to-day digital sell-through and rental operations and strategic initiatives.

Goldberg most recently served as FilmDistrict’s svp of media and prior to that held the position of svp of media and promotions at Sony Pictures.

Nagpal was vp of finance and business development at FilmDistrict. Before his promotion he worked closely with the founders on the initial business plan that resulted in investment. He manages greenlighting, deal analysis, financial planning and strategy for all acquisitions and third-party deals. Nagpal previously worked in business development at Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions.

“It’s with great pleasure that we promote three fantastic executives who have proved their business acumen and who are great colleagues, as well,” said Schlessel [pictured].
