Le Pacte will debut three new titles on its line-up for the Unifrance Rendez-Vous with French Cinema, which begins this week in Paris.

Directed by Saverio Constanzo, The Solitude Of Prime Numbers is an adaptation of Paolo Giordano’s best-seller about two people living a parallel existence while remaining inextricably intertwined. Isabella Rossellini stars alongside Luca Marinelli and Alba Rohwacher.

Giordano’s debut novel sold more than three million copies and has been translated into 20 languages. It also made the author the youngest-ever recipient of Italy’s premier literary award, the Premio Strega. Giordano and Constanzo co-wrote the script, which Constanzo is currently shooting. Italy’s Offside is producing with France’s Les Films des Tournelles and Bavaria Pictures.

Manuel Poirier returns to the screen with Café Du Pont, adapted from the autobiography of French singer Pierre Perret. The story recounts Perret’s childhood and the family and village spirit that helped to accomplish his father’s greatest wish: the opening of a grand ballroom in the town. Bernard Campan, Cecile Rebboah, Sergi Lopez and Thomas Durastel star in the Recifilms and Axel Films production. Café Du Pont is in post-production.

Finally, Le Pacte is selling On Tour from actor and sometime director Mathieu Amalric. The company will screen footage from the film, about a veteran impresario making his comeback with an American burlesque show during an epic tour of France.

Amalric is known to international audiences thanks to roles in such films as The Diving Bell And The Butterfly, Quantum Of Solace and Munich.
