The day-long event scheduled to for Oct 3 will introduce 25 emerging filmmakers to the likes of American Spendor director Shari Springer Berman, Precious executive producer Lisa Cortes and Ocean’s Thirteen writer Brian Koppelman.

The programme will run concurrent to the New York Film Festival. Each filmmaker will receive mentorship and a yea’s support from both organisations including annual memberships and participation in panels and events.

The filmmakers will take part in one-to-one meetings, workshops and case studies.
