Indian studio Eros International has signed a deal with Korea Telecom (KT) to license 50 titles across various platforms including IPTV, mobile and internet.

The deal covers titles such as Yamla Pagla Deewana, Chalo Dilli, Houseful, No Problem, London Dreams and De Dana Dan. It is expected the titles will be screened on KT’s Olleh TV platform.

“Considering the huge fan following Bollywood movies have in South Korea and with our library of over 2,000 movies, we thought this was an ideal opportunity to exploit our content,” said Eros International senior vice president, business development, Kumar Ahuja.

“We could not have chosen a better partner than Korea Telecom, a leader in integrated telecommunication service provider in South Korea.”

Eros also recently signed a deal with Korea’s Inyoung Trading for the theatrical release of Tamil sci-fi hit Robot (Endhiran), which will open in South Korea next month.
