Greenbaum joins Searchlight as svp production

Greenbaum joins after a decade at Miramax, where he most recently served as vice-president of production and development and worked on John Madden’s upcoming thriller The Debt starring Helen Mirren.

“It was important to me to find someone who shares our strong commitment to independent film-making and unique cinematic expression,” Lewis, to whom Greenbaum will report, said. “David’s intelligence and his passion for original and imaginative filmmakers makes for a perfect fit and we are proud to welcome him to Searchlight.”

Greenbaum started his film career working as the executive assistant to Harvey Weinstein.
