Filmax launches special Valentine’s Day trailer for Rec 3.

Berlinale Competition entry Childish Games has been snapped up for Japan by Pony Canyon.

The deal was announced by Filmax following the film’s market and official screenings over the weekend.

The psychological thriller, written and directed by Antonio Chavarrias (The Milk Of Sorrow), is also in advanced negotiations for
a Latin American deal. The film will be released theatrically in Spain by Filmax on March 9.

During the market, Filmax has also clinched a UK deal on Jaume Balaguero’s box-office hit Sleep Tight starring Luis Tosar. The film
has been picked up by London-based Metrodome, who are committed to giving it a theatrical release.

Here at the EFM, Filmax is releasing a special “Valentine’s Day” trailer for Placo Plaza’s Rec 3. The film is being released in Spain
on over 300 prints on March 30.
