Toronto-based Raven Banner has acquired worldwide rights to Doghouse Pictures Beautiful People and is talking up the project at AFM.
The story centres on home invaders who unwittingly unleash a scientist’s secret project.
Michael Paszt and James Fler of Raven Banner brokered the deal with Marco Palese from Doghouse Pictures.
Roster includes Frankie Freako, The Waterhouse.
Fest runs July 18-August 4 in Montreal.
The French outfit has also added Sophie Deraspe’s ‘Berger’ to its big Cannes slate.
Calum Macdiarmid makes feature directorial debut.
Peripheral, The Shade, Four Samosas also on sales roster.
CAA Media Finance, UTA Independent Film Group handle North American rights.
