Image Entertainment has taken US theatrical, home video and non-broadcast digital rights to Suburban Girl and Undead or Alive.

Both films were sold by Odd Lot Entertainment.

Suburban Girl is a romantic comedy starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin. Marc Klein wrote and directed the project based on two short stories from Melissa Bank's bestseller The Girls' Guide To Hunting And Fishing.

Gellar plays a junior book editor in New York who falls in love with an older, powerful publisher (played by Baldwin)

The film is an Odd Lot production in association with Catch 23 Productions. Deborah Del Prete, Gigi Pritzker and Daryl Taja produce.

Image plans a 2008 theatrical release.

Comedic western Undead Or Alive is about two friends who encounter zombies in an old west town. James Denton and Chris Kattan star for writer/director Glasgow Phillips who previously worked on Southpark.

Odd Lot's Del Prete and Pritzker produced with David Greathouse.

Image will release Undead Or Alive in December 2007 on DVD.

'We have made a significant commitment to being in the feature film business and this agreement with Odd Lot is a perfect example of the type of high-quality, cast-driven projects that Image will bring to the marketplace,' said David Borshell, Image COO.

Odd Lot's COO Bill Lischak added: 'We look forward to working with Image's team as these and other potential Odd Lot films are released into the marketplace.'
