Susan Ciccone has joined 42West to head its West Coast film marketing division. Ciccone will leave her current position as vice president of publicity at Paramount Pictures, where she has served for nearly eight years, and assumes her new role in mid-April.

She will work out of the company's Century City offices and oversee all LA-based film staff.

'This is a thrilling move for me as, since their inception, I have always thought of 42West as setting the gold standard for PR firms,' Ciccone said.

During her tenure at Paramount, Ciccone's publicity campaign credits encompassed What Women Want, The Hours, School Of Rock, Charlotte's Web, Vanilla Sky, and the upcoming Blades of Glory.

Prior to that she served 10 years at 20th Century Fox, first in New York and then in Los Angeles. Ciccone began her career at Rogers and Cowan.

'To say we are excited to have Susan come on board would be an understatement,' 42West partners Amanda Lundberg, Allan Mayer, Leslee Dart, Cynthia Swartz and Robert Garlock said.
