Tim Connors has been named Marvel Studios COO and will manage the company's day-to-day business affairs and transactions.
Connors previously served as executive vice president of business affairs and operations since December 2006 and his in-tray includes managing a slate that includes Iron Man 2 on May 7 2010, Thor on July 16 2010, The First Avenger: Captain America on May 6 2011, The Avengers on July 15 2011 and Ant Man, which is undated.
Marvel Studios' business team is rounded out by senior vice president of studio finance Matt Finick and president of physical production Louis D'Esposito.
Prior to joining Marvel Studios in 2006, Connors worked at Technicolor as deputy general counsel for electronic distribution services. He also worked in business affairs at DreamWorks SKG and as a business development consultant for the Tokyo-based Kadokawa Group Holdings.
