Tom Stewart will depart his post as general manager, home entertainment, at UK distributor Metrodome as of July 25 to become head of acquisitions for High Fliers.

Stewart has been at Metrodome for five years, heading the home entertainment department for the past two and a half years. He had worked on such successful titles as Flight 93, Saints & Soldiers, and Days Of Glory.

Stewart said: 'It's been an amazing five years with the team, who have given me so much to be proud of. I want to thank Peter Urie and everyone in the company for giving me so much support over the years. Metrodome is now placed now to grow into the company we've all dreamed it would be. So it's with true sadness and admiration that I am leaving at this stage, even though my future with High Fliers and moving my family up north is a very exciting prospect for me personally.'

Metrodome CEO Peter Urie added: 'I am personally very sad to see Tom leave, and I know that he will be greatly missed by all at Metrodome. Tom has been with the company for almost five years and has done a fantastic job. Over the last two and a half years as the general manager of the home entertainment division, he has played a significant part in the recent success of Metrodome.'
