Momentum Pictures has struck a deal with iTunes that will see its films made available for purchase and rent through the UK's iTunes Store.

In a move to expand its online presence, Momentum Pictures has signed a deal with iTunes which will see its current and future releases available for purchase and rent through the iTunes Store.

Titles to be made available to iTune users will include Amelie, Lost In Translation as well as forthcoming titles including Lesbian Vampire Killers and Last Chance Harvey.

'The way audiences consume films at home is evolving. We own a rich and diverse slate that appeals to a wide range of audiences and we believe iTunes provides us with a unique opportunity to reach them all,' said Peter Dutton, svp of TV & new media at Momentum Pictures. 'Momentum's aim has always been to pioneer new platforms and that makes iTunes a natural home for our films online.'
