Eurocinema, the US TV network that showcases world cinema, has signed a carriage deal with DISH Networks.

'We're delighted to launch on DISH Network, which can now offer its customers access to the multitude of foreign film titles in our library,' Sebastien Perioche, chairman and CEO of Eurocinema's parent company EuroMedia Holdings Corp said. 'Thanks to mainstream industry and consumer recognition of their quality, as well as the tremendous surge in immigrant communities across the country, foreign films are enjoying a renaissance in the US.'

'DISH Network knows there is continuously growing demand for international programming options,' Andy Karofsky, vice president of Programming for DISH Network, said. 'With DISH On Demand, our customers have a huge variety of programming available at their fingertips with a click of the remote, and adding Eurocinema creates even more programming options for our entire customer base to watch the programs they want to watch, when they want to watch them.'
