The Far East Film Festival closed its 14th edition in Udine, Italy with more than 50,000 viewers attending this year’s edition.

Korean courtroom drama Silenced won the audience award. The second place prize went to Chinese road movie One Mile Above and Korea’s The Front Line won third place.

The readers award went to fantasy Thermae Romae, which had its world premiere in Udine.

Special events included a lifetime achievement award presented to Johnnie To.
