Germany’s PrimeHouse will hold the second edition of its Indo-European project packaging forum PRIMEXCHANGE in Warsaw and during Film Bazaar in the Indian state of Goa.

The programme, backed by the European Commission’s MEDIA International, will select a maximum of four European and four Indian projects, which will then be evaluated in terms of their potential for Indo-European collaboration. A team of experts from India and Europe will lead a series of group and individual coaching sessions, and the event will also include seminars and networking events.

The first lab, Warsaw Script Meetings, will take place in Warsaw, Poland from October 13-16 in association with the Polish Filmmaker Association and the Polish Film Institute.

The second lab (Nov 21-27) takes place just before and during the Film Bazaar financing and co-production market in Goa. Film Bazaar, which is organised by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), this year runs from November 23-26.

Experts confirmed so far include consultants Phil Parker and Dina Dattani, Stephan Holl of German distributor Rapid Eye Movies, Indian producer and distributor Sunil Doshi, Jeremy Gawade of the UK’s Lee & Thompson Solicitors and PrimeHouse’s Frank Stehling.

The projects will be evaluated from several different angles including script analysis, market research, financing, distribution, world sales and interactive media.

PRIMEXCHANGE 2010 is looking for feature-length film projects at packaging stage. The application deadline is September 20. Forms can be downloaded at www.primehouse.eu/downloads.
