Korean sales agent Activers Entertainment has sold high school comedy The Legend of Seven Cutter and library title The Hidden Princess to Lionheart Pictures for Thailand.

Activers has also announced a content deal with major South Korean internet portal site Daum for ad-based free VOD. The seller's library comprises more than a thousand titles starting from the 1950s to present, including classic Im Kwon-taek and Lee Man-hee films.

'Searching out copyright holders to these old films - along with equally hard-to-find materials, is like looking for pearls in the sand,' says CEO Peter Jung Won Seo. 'But we keep at it and this is how we built the library.'

The company also previously signed with UK-based Firecracker Media to be their exclusive provider of Korean films for English-speaking territories' VOD and IPTV.
