Orlando Bloom will join hisreal-life girlfriend Kate Bosworth in the independent drama Seasons Of Dust which has been written and will be directed byactor/film-maker Tim Blake Nelson (O, The Grey Zone) and is due to shoot this summer.

Set in 1935 in Depressionera Oklahoma, the film is about a young farm woman forced to go on the run. "Anincident happens and she is has to go on the run and the film is about theevents that follow," explained Bosworth in LA recently. "It's a woman's journeyduring the Depression and it's one of the most beautiful scripts I've ever read."

Nelson met Bosworth whenboth were in the cast of Wonderland in 2003. "He approached me after we did that film and said that he waswriting a script and wanted me to read it."

Bosworth meanwhile gaveBloom the script to read. "Kate has been attached to the film for a while andasked me to read it and I just fell in love with it," said Bloom. "I love thecharacter and Tim Blake Nelson just came to London to rehearse with me and I'mreally excited about working with him."

Bloom will play a "cowboywho steals from bootleggers." "He's a really charismatic character, a realcowboy who loves to be loved by women," said the actor.

Bosworth and Bloom areplaying lead roles in two of the summer's biggest blockbuster prospects. She isLois Lane in Superman Returns,out through Warner Bros on June 28 and he returns opposite Johnny Depp andKeira Knightley in Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest through Buena Vista on July 7.

Nelson's directors on OBrother Where Art Thou' - Joel andEthan Coen - are executive producing Seasons Of Dust which is being financed by Capitol Films andAscendant Pictures.
