Aubrey Plaza, the comedienne and star of Safety Not Guaranteed, will receive the convention’s CinemaCon Breakthrough Performer Of The Year Award on Apr 18.

“Aubrey Plaza has already been delighting audiences on the hit television series Parks And Recreation and was seen in 2012’s sleeper hit Safety Not Guaranteed [pictured],” said CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser.

“With her upcoming starring role in the all-star comedy The To Do List, Aubrey Plaza is poised to breakout as one of Hollywood’s hottest new comedic actresses.”

CinemaCon is set to run from Apr 15-18.
