Danis Tanovic’s Cirkus Columbia won best picture in the international competition of this year’s Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (Oct 9-14), while Seren Yuce’s Majority took best film in the national competition.

Majority, about the conflict between a young man from a middle-class family and his authoritarian father, had previously won the Luigi De Laurentis Award for best first film at the Venice film festival earlier this year.
