Korea’s CJ Entertainment has closed a raft of sales on Kang Je-kyu’s My Way, which is screening in Panorama Special.

The big-budget war epic has gone to NBC Universal for the UK, Australia and New Zealand,  Wild Side for French-speaking Europe, Splendid for Germany and Benelux, Scorpio East for Singapore, STG for Thailand and Knotty Ideas for Malaysia.

North American rights to the film were previously sold to Well Go USA in a deal that was announced last September. The film’s two male leads, Jang Dong-gun and Joe Odagiri, are expected to attend today’s premiere screening (Feb 10).

CJ also has three other films in Berlin selection – Lee Han’s drama Punch in Generation 14plus, Kim Joong-hyun’s Choked in Forum and Lee Hyeon-seung’s Hindsight in Culinary Cinema.

The Korean giant is also selling crime thriller Howling, directed by Yoo Ha (A Dirty Carnival) and starring Song Kang-ho (Thirst), and 3D animation Speckles: The Tarbosaurus, which scored the biggest opening week ever for a local animation when it was released in Korea on Jan 26.
