The Dardenne brothers, Jean-Pierre and Luc, will give this year’s Cinema Masterclass at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Belgian directing duo are fixtures at the festival where they have won the Palme d’Or twice - in 1999 for Rosettaand in 2005 for L’Enfant. They also shared the writing Palme in 2008 for Le Silence De Lorna and in 2002 their The Son brought Olivier Gourmet a best actor Palme.

On May 19, the brothers will entertain festival attendees and film buffs with stories about their career trajectory and their collaborative filmmaking history. Previous Masterclass masters have included Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Nanni Moretti and Wong Kar-Wai.
