UK sales agent takes worldwide rights to Black and Blue’s Elfie Hopkins And The Gammons and Strippers vs Werewolves, as well as James Erskine’s From The Ashes.

UK sales outfit Kaleidoscope Film Distribution is shopping two at the EFM from London-based producers Black and Blue Films: thriller Elfie Hopkins And The Gammons, starring Ray and Jamie Winstone, and action-comedy Strippers vs Werewolves.

Directed by Ryan Andrews, Jamie Winstone takes the title role in Elfie Hopkins as a small town detective who gets more than she bargains for when a family of cannibals move in across the road.Shooting begins in March, 2011.

Directed by Jonathan Glendening (13 Hours), and starring Barbara Nedeljakova (Hostel and Hostel II) and Adele Silva, Strippers vs Werewolves is a revenge-action-comedy about a turf war that breaks out after a strip-club murder. The film is expected to begin shooting in April of this year.

Kaleidoscope has also acquired worldwide rights to documentary From The Ashes, directed by James Erskine. The film follows the 1981 ashes series in which England made a stunning sporting comeback.

From The Ashes is currently in post-production. Kaleidoscope is theatrically releasing the film in the UK this May.

Kaleidoscope’s EFM line-up also includes Michael Flatley: Lord Of The Dance 3D, Forget Me Not, City Rats and Bikini Girls On Ice.
