The LA based company will handle sales on Rosenfelt’s documentary about an orthodox Jew who stands up to his community.

The film, which tells the story of Phil Jacobs, an orthodox Jew who goes against the wishes of his own community in Baltimore to uncover a web of sexual abuse involving a rabbi, will have its world premiere at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival on Feburary 17.

It is produced by Rosenfelt, whose producing credits include Home Alone and Mystic Pizza, along with John Bennett and Lawrence Robbins.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Scott Rosenfelt, who has so many incredible films to his credit, particularly because Standing Silent is so powerful and moving,” said Robbie Little, co-president of LA based The Little Film Company.
