EchelonEntertainment has acquired domestic rights to arguably the most bizarre of thecurrent crop of political documentaries, Jude Gerard Prest's Rabbit Hash:The Centre Of The Universe.

Thesatirical picture focuses on an electoral race in the Kentucky town of RabbitHash that returned an actual dog named Goofy as town mayor.

Thefilmmakers profile the town's human inhabitants and several localluminaries, including nearby resident and country and western star WynonnaJudd.

Newmark/Echelon EntertainmentGroup plans an autumn release before or around the time of the PresidentialElection on Nov 2.

LosAngeles-based Echelon holds worldwide rights to the picture, which was producedby Prest, Chris Carrington and Dave Thies.
