Danny Elfman will receive the 12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival's (HFF) Hollywood Composer Of The Year Award, along with similar honours for cinematographer Mandy Walker, editors Daniel P Hanley and Mike Hill, production designer Sarah Greenwood and costume designer Deborah Hopper.

Elfman most recently composed scores for Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Wanted and Gus Van Sant's upcoming Milk and has earned Oscar nominations for Men In Black, Good Will Hunting and Big Fish. Walker worked on Baz Luhrmann's upcoming epic Australia and her body of work includes Shattered Glass, Lantana and Love Serenade.

Longtime Ron Howard collaborators Hanley and Hill edited Frost/Nixon and won Oscars for Apollo 13. Their credits include A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man and The Da Vinci Code. Their next assignment for Howard will be Angels And Demons.

Greenwood reprises her collaboration with Joe Wright on The Soloist following her shared Oscar nominations with set decorator Katie Spencer for Atonement and Pride & Prejudice. Longtime Clint Eastwood collaborator Hopper most recently worked on Changeling and Gran Torino and her credits include Letters From Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathers, Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River.

'Each of these artists have made a significant contribution to cinema in their respective professions and are sure to impress film audiences with the latest additions to their bodies of work this year,' HFF founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu said.

The gala ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on October 27.
