Far East Film Festival founder Sabrina Baracetti discussed the impact of Asian film on Western audiences, particularly in Italy where the festival is based.
Baracetti also spoke on how Far East has recovered from the pandemic and what steps it’s taking to achieve gender parity.
Baracetti spoke to Screen in the virtual production studio, operated by Votion Studios, at Hong Kong Filmart.
“We saw an opportunity to deliver action movies, comedy movies, thrillers, sci fi and horror.”
“What makes us a little different is that we are making content for the global marketplace,” says CEO Simon Swart.
