Computer graphics expert Brett Feeney has joined Imagi International Holdings as vice president of production based in Hong Kong.

Feeney will be responsible for managing the company's animation production line and its 400+ artists, animators, and technical staff. His arrival coincides with the release of Imagi's first major theatrical film, TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which Warner Brothers and The Weinstein Company will release on Mar 23.

Feeney will get to work preparing the production lines for Imagi's next two films Gatchaman and Astro Boy, based on the superhero characters and scheduled for release in late 2008 and early 2009 respectively.

He arrives from Sydney-based Animal Logic, where his responsibilities as digital supervisor included managing the production line that delivered this year's Oscar winner Happy Feet. During his ten years at Animal Logic, Feeney worked on such films as Moulin Rouge, Hero, and The Matrix Reloaded.
