He joins the London based law firm’s media department as a senior associate.

London based law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP has appointed Kami Naghdi as senior associate, as part of its plans to expand the firm’s media practice.

Naghdi, who has 10 years experience in the film and television industry, will advise on matters including expanding into new jurisdictions, brand protection and tax incentives. Field Fisher Waterhouse’s clients include the BBC and BBC Universal.

He was previously at UK law firm Bird & Bird.

Tim Johnson, who heads up the firm’s Media Group, said: “Kami joins the team bringing with him a wealth of experience having advised key players in the film industry for more than six years. His knowledge from working with leading international sales agents and an array of US-based studios, their subsidiaries and top independent distributors, will be invaluable to providing first-class advice to the firm’s growing media client base.”
