French sales outfit Films Distribution has announced the world premieres of three new titles at the upcoming Rendez-Vous with French cinema. The event, organized by French film export body Unifrance, runs Jan 10-14 in Paris.

At the Rendez-Vous, Films Distribution will screen The Maiden And The Wolves directed by Gilles Legrand and starring Laetitia Casta as a young veterinarian who is the object of a ruthless rivalry between the man she is supposed to marry and a simple man who has withdrawn to the mountains to live among the wolves. The film also stars Jean-Paul Rouve and Stefano Accorsi.

Also on deck is Lea Fazer's What If ', a comedy in the vein of Sliding Doors wherein two worlds are shown: one where Margot gets a coveted promotion and one where her lover Victor gets it instead.

Finally, Nicolas Boukhrief's Cortex starring Andre Dussolier and Julien Boisselier will also premiere. The film is a thriller about a retired cop suffering from Alzheimer's who finds himself involved in the most important and dangerous investigation of his life just when his memory is starting to go.
