French sales outfit Funny Balloons has sold Benoit Delepine and Gustav Kervern's black comedy Louise-Michel to Ad Vitam in France, Pony Films (Austria), Columbus (Switzerland), Cirko (Hungary), Independenta (Romania), UTV (India), Vendetta (New Zealand/Australia), and Maywin (CSI and Baltics). The deals were closed on the back of the film's world premiere at San Sebastian today.

Screening in competition at the festival, Louise-Michel is a comedy about a group of factory workers who lose their jobs and subsequently decide to hire a hitman to take out their former boss. The film soon turns to farce as the appointed leader of the group strikes up a friendship with the incompetent hitman to find their target.

The film had already sold to Kool Film Distribution in Germany.
