The Hamptons International Film Festival will host its 8th Annual Screenwriters' Lab co-sponsored by the Alfred P Sloan Foundation from May 9 to 11 in East Hampton.
Over the course of one weekend emerging screenwriters will benefit from the expert tutelage of mentors who will advise them on how best to revise their scripts in preparation for production.
Selected screenwriters will meet one-on-one each day with established screenwriting mentors who will advise them on how to develop their scripts.
Following the lab, The Hamptons will provide year-round support including ongoing relationships with mentors, readings and a possible screening slot in the festival itself.
The 2008 Lab participants and screenplays are: Alex R Johnson for La Sobrina; James Ponsoldt for Refresh, Refresh; Bradford Tatum for Book Of Water: Avi Weider for Zeroes And Ones.
