London-based High Point Films has picked up worldwide sales rights to Rick Larkin's debut feature Satellites & Meteorites.

Larkin's company i-Wire Films executive produced the project and it was produced by Eimear O'Kane for Emu Productions and Dave Leahy for Warrior Films.

The romantic fantasy is a love story between two people involved in an accident who find each other in a parallel universe. The film stars Adam Furgus and Amy Huberman alongside Geoff Minogue and Dominique McElligott.

'Satellites & Meteorites is a charming gem which manages both to tap into the imagination, with its parallel universe angle, and to pull the heart strings as the story of two people destined to be together,' said High Point managing director Carey Fitzgerald. 'It's this combination that puts the film in good stead commercially.'

'We're delighted to be working with High Point on this project,' Rick Larkin added. 'We had a lot of interest after Cannes but it was important to find a company that understood the film from both an artistic and commercial perspective and High Point is the perfect choice for us'

Satellites & Meteorites will screen at the upcoming Galway International Film Festival and also has been selected for Montreal World Film Festival.
