The International Documentary Association (IDA) has announced sixnominees for the David L Wolper Student Documentary Achievement Award.

The nominees are: Vadim Antonevich (The Sam Spiegel Film & TVSchool, Jerusalem) for In the Company Of Dead Cat; Isaac Brown and Erik Flagg (Universityof Florida, Gainesville) for Gimme Green; Jasmin Gordon (Stanford University) for Monsieur Borges; Carrie Lozano (University ofCalifornia, Berkeley) for Reporter Zero; Hung Nguyen (Loyola Marymount) for Going Home; and Xiaoli Zhou (University ofCalifornia, Berkeley) for Women's Kingdom.

The Wolper Award includes a film product grant along withthe opportunity to take part in the Kodak Emerging Filmmakers programme, ayear-long IDA membership, and a cash prize from Wolper.

The six filmswill be screened on Oct 28 as part of the International Student DocumentaryFestival. The winner will be celebrated at the 22nd Annual IDA DistinguishedDocumentary Achievement Awards gala at the DGA Theatre in Los Angeles on Dec 8.
