Michael Cuesta'schildhood drama Twelve AndHolding, which sold to a raft of international markets on the back of its Torontopremiere last autumn, has found a USdistributor.

IFC hasacquired Serenade Films' revenge tale of youngsters who come to terms with thedeath of their friend, and plans to release it this summer.

Zoe Weizenbaum, Jesse Camacho and newcomer Connor Donovan starin Cuesta's follow-up to his feature debut Lie. Serenade produced with CanaryFilms, Echo Lake Productions, Frank Frattaroli andMike Downey.

IFC's vicepresident of acquisitions negotiated the deal with IFCEntertainment president Jonathan Sehring, CAA,Leslie Urdang and Michael Nozik.

"Cuestahas the enviable skill to take this seemingly familiar terrain and make it bothmysterious and shocking at the same time," Sehringsaid.

Fortissimo is handlinginternational rights and has sold the picture to LionsgateUK(formerly Redbus) in the UK, Diaphana in France andVillage Roadshow in Australia, New Zealand, Greece and Singapore.

IFCrecently released Miranda July's Me And You AndEveryone We Know and is preparing to distribute Lars von Trier's Manderlay andAdrian Shergold's Pierrepoint.
