Cameras will start rollingon March 7 on the controversial adaptation of an erotic diary written by a17-year-old Sicilian schoolgirl, which is being produced by Italian actressFrancesca Neri.

The literary sensation,entitled Cento Colpi Di Spazzola Prima Di Andare A Dormire (literally,one hundred brushes before bed time), was written by a student known only asMelissa P. and delves into her multiple erotic encounters and fantasies.

Spanish actress MariaValverde (The Weakness Of The Bolshevik) heads the cast of the film,which will be directed by Luca Guadagnino.

The cast will also featureElio Germano, Claudio Santamaria, Primo Reggiani and Piergiorgio Bellocchio.Geraldine Chaplin plays the girl's grandmother.

The film marks the debut asproducers of two of Italy's top actors, Francesca Neri (Collateral Damage,Hannibal) and her partner, Claudio Amendola, who are producing throughtheir newly-established Rome outfit, Bess Movie.
