Produced by Robot, the same company that delivered the two mega-hit BaysideShakedown films, Sea Monkeys depicts the trials and triumphs ofyoung Japan Coast Guardsmen training to be divers -- in other words, AnOfficer And a Gentleman goes underwater.

A strong average of $40,591 on 13 major city screens propelled the filmto fourth place on the chart. Confident that the box office would be thumbs up,Robot has already started on the sequel, while sales company Pony Canyon, whichscreened the film in the Cannes market, has concluded sales to Hong Kong,Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
