Keri Russell has signed to star opposite Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford in The Untitled Crowley Project, CBS Films' first feature that is set to go before the cameras on April 6.

In the drama Russell and Fraser will play parents of children with a rare genetic disorder who hook up with an unconventional scientist played by Ford in a race to find a cure.

Tom Vaughan is directing and Ford serves as executive producer. Double Feature Films' Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are producing with Carla Shamberg.

Robert Nelson Jacobs wrote the screenplay inspired by Geeta Anand's Wall Street Journal article and book, The Cure.

'At the heart of this story is an exemplary mother in Aileen Crowley,' CBS Films president and CEO Amy Baer said. 'It was important that we find an actress who could portray incredible maternal sensitivity combined with the steadfastness of a woman on a mission. Keri has the talent to depict both with striking balance.'
