Tine Klint’s Danish sales outfit Level K has sold Ronal-The Barbarian (Ronal Barbaren), a Danish, fully-animated 3D feature, to Film Depot for CIS and Baltics.

Produced by Einstein Film, the story of a young barbarian with low self-esteem is directed by Thorbjørn Christoffersen, Kresten Vestbjerg Andersen and Philip Einstein Lipski. Here in Santa Monica, LevelK will be presenting buyers with English and Spanish-language teasers.

The actors Lars Mikkelsen, Preben Kristensen and Gitte Nielsen will lend their voices to the Danish version of the film, which is produced by Trine Heidegaard, and will be
released by Nordisk Film Distribution in September 2011.

At the AFM Klint is presenting two other recent LevelK pick-ups. One is Turkish director Umit Unal’s The Voice (SES), about a bank employee whose routine life is brought to an
end when she hears an inner voice and cannot escape unless she submits to it.

Meanwhile, LevelK is also handling sales on Polish director Jan Komasa’s Suicide Room (Sala samobójców) which follows Dominik, the son of a wealthy businessman and
woman, who is subject to a series of humiliating events 100 days before graduation. He reverts to a virtual world. Soon enough his online experiences bleed dangerously into reality.
