Jens Lien's Norwegian comedy-horror movie The Bothersome Man won the Golden Starfish for bestnarrative feature at the 14th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival,while Georgi Lazarevski's Voyage In G Major won corresponding documentary honours.

The Bothersome Man also won the Kodak Award For Best Cinematography for JohnChristian Rosenlund.

The Zicherman Family Foundation Award For Best Screenwriter wentto Claudia Schreiber and Ruth Thoma for the German romance Emma's Bliss.

The Golden Starfish Short Film Award was awarded to Jamie Travis' Canadianentry Patterns 3.

Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain was named winner of the Alfred P Sloan FoundationFilm Prize for its innovative exploration of science and technology.

As previously announced, Ellen Burstyn collected the GoldenStarfish Career Achievement in Acting. Burstyn is among the cast of The Fountain alongside Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.

The 14th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival opened with PhilipHaas' The Situationand closed with Michael Polish's drama The Astronaut Farmer. The festival ran from Oct 18-22.
