Josh Lucas and Golden Globe TV nominee Jon Hamm will star in A2 Entertainment Group and Code Entertainment's thriller The Boy In The Box.

Lucas will play the father of a boy that went missing years ago and whose case bears striking parallels to a current investigation.

James Van Der Beek, Rhona Mitra, Marcus Thomas, Jimmy Bennett and Jessica Chastain round out the cast. Glenn Taranto wrote the screenplay.

A2's Anders Anderson and Andy Steinman and Code Entertainment's Al Corley, Bart Rosenblatt and Eugene Musso are producing. Anderson is making his feature directorial debut on the film.

Code Entertainment most recently produced Warner Bros' upcoming comedy Spring Breakdown starring Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Parker Posey and Amber Tamblyn. Earlier credits include You Kill Me with Ben Kingsley, Tea Leoni and Luke Wilson and Edmond starring William H Macy.

The Boy in the Box is A2 Entertainment's first film.

Lucas is represented by CAA and ICM represents Jon Hamm.
